Delaware May 2025 iGaming report: YTD revenue up over 115.4%

The Delaware Lottery have released their iGaming revenue report for May 2025 – with several key figures underlining the vibrant Delaware online casino scene.

Comprising data accumulated by Delaware’s three main iGaming operators (Delaware Park, Harrington and Bally’s Dover), this details total registrations, table game earnings and the month’s slots yield.

Of particular note is a 115.4% year-to-date net gaming revenue increase – as the region’s revenue climbed from $3.9m in May 2024 to $8.4m in May 2025.

However, the state saw a slight decrease in month-to-month revenue; stooping by 0.7% compared to April of this year.

Here, we dig into other crucial findings described in the Lottery’s latest report, including operator and sector performance comparisons – with all figures solely connected to online casino results.

Delaware iGaming report: May 2025 key findings

First on the docket is Delaware’s outstanding year-to-date performance, as state operators reported a cumulative return of $8.4m.

While this marks a boost of over 115.4% against figures for the previous year, the report also details a steady influx of new registrants across the board.

Registration figures remain steady

Delaware’s three online casino operators reported a total of 3,456 registrations throughout May 2025. Specifically, these figures were distributed as follows:

  • Delaware Park: 1,535 registrations
  • Bally’s Dover: 1,163 registrations
  • Harrington: 758 registrations

Interestingly, Bally’s Dover was the only operator to onboard more players this year in May compared to last May – with 773 registrations 12 months ago. This was up 50.5% Y-o-Y.

On the other end of the scale, Delaware Park saw a 25.9% decrease in the number of s, while Harrington’s newcomer figures dropped by 28.3%.

Betting revenue on the up

Online slots and table games represent Delaware’s most prominent forms of internet-based gambling – and both sectors took fruitful returns in May.

Per the report, $147.5m worth of slots wagers were placed during this period. That amounts to an 8.1% increase over April’s outlook, in which $136.4m was spent on online video slots.

That hike is minuscule compared to the improvement seen over last year – as iGaming operators recorded a 79.7% rise in Y-o-Y slots handle.

Figures were far more stable in the table games genre. In April, operators reported that $116.8m had been wagered in this arena.

During May, those same groups broadcast that $116.9m in table games bets were placed.

In May 2024, Delaware iGaming platforms took just $51.8m in online table games wagers – evidencing a 125.7% upturn this year.

Promotions paying dividends

Table and slots-focused promotions experienced a massive uptick in May too.

Overall, Delaware’s online casino operators handed out a total of $2m in promotional funds to players in May 2025 – a 35.2% surge over April’s bonus-adjacent outlay.

When weighed against May 2024, a clear push to reward consumers is uncovered; as operators reinforced promotional efforts by 179.5% during the final month of spring.

Although promotional endeavors decrease the total profit attained by betting platforms, the fact that Delaware’s major iGaming firms can afford to spend serious cash on multi-sector bonuses points to a strong market.

Net gaming revenue soars

When ing for all promotional expenses, player wagers and operators’ net gaming win, Delaware’s total net gaming revenue for May 2025 achieved $8.4m.

Despite sitting below figures for March ($8.8m) and April ($8.5m), this maintains the state’s post-February ($6.6m) positive trajectory.

May’s net gaming revenue also beats numbers posted through FY24 – when Delaware never accumulated more than $5m during a four-week period.

Operator comparison: Delaware Park steams ahead

When it came to online slots and table games, Delaware Park outperformed its domestic competitors. Nonetheless, Harrington and Bally’s Dover presented promising results, as outlined below.

Bets placed: Online games

Delaware Park reported $69.8m in iGaming table game wagers – comfortably fending off competition from Bally’s Dover ($18.4m) and Harrington ($28.7m).

In of slots, Delaware Park again took a leading position; the operator revealed that $69.1m was wagered on video slots last month. Its closest challenger, Harrington, took $46.4m in the same market.

Despite being behind its respective contemporaries, Bally’s Dover welcomed more iGaming slots bets in May than any prior month, with its previous record being in January.

Operators committed to bonuses

Delaware Park invested $964,493 into promotional campaigns during May, whereas Bally’s Dover ($409,262) and Harrington ($637,555) devoted noticeably smaller cash sums to consumer-facing bonuses.

Each of the three operators continued to view online slot games offers as a focus – with the majority of promotional funds attributed to that particular iGaming category.

Bally’s Dover has yet to break the $100,000 barrier for table game promotional investment in FY25, but there is still time.

For Harrington ($135,314) and Delaware Park ($281,703), this department remains a central focus.

Platforms disclose solid net gaming revenue figures

In the face of a small net revenue decrease compared to April, each of Delaware’s primary iGaming operators reported net revenue figures of over $1m in the online slots genre.

At $2.5m, Delaware Park again outshone Bally’s Dover ($1.4m) and Harrington ($1.9m) for total slots net gaming revenue.

Neither Bally’s Dover nor Harrington could maintain pace with Delaware Park’s online table games haul, either, as the latter of the trio earned $1.5m.

For context, that is 288.3% more than Bally’s and 88.1% greater than Harrington’s figures.

Although Harrington continues to close the gap on the current market leader, overcoming the near-50% difference will prove a steep task.

The months ahead shall paint a clearer picture as to whether Delaware Park’s grip on the state can be conquered.
